Tinkeroll – Privacy Policy
Tinkeroll is a puzzle game. We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email address or location. This policy explains the little data the game does use.
1. Data stored on your device
Your progress, settings, coins, purchases and the maps you build are saved on your device. They stay there unless you share a map or join a tournament.
2. Community maps and tournaments (Apple iCloud)
When you share a map, like or play a community map, or join a weekend tournament, the game stores records in Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) public database. These records contain:
- an anonymous iCloud record identifier that Apple assigns to the app (not your Apple ID, name or email),
- the map you shared and its name,
- the nickname you choose for tournament leaderboards,
- tournament results (time, number of falls) and map statistics (likes, plays, best time).
Shared maps, nicknames and leaderboard results are visible to other players. Apple processes this data under the Apple Privacy Policy. You can ask us to remove your shared maps or tournament entries by writing to us.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. Google may collect device information such as the advertising identifier (IDFA), IP address and ad interactions to show and measure ads.
- The game asks for your permission before allowing tracking (Apple's App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, you still see ads, but they are not personalized using the IDFA.
- In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, a Google consent form asks for your choices first. You can change them at any time in Settings → Ad Privacy Options.
- Buying "Remove Ads" turns off interstitial ads. Optional rewarded ads stay available if you choose to watch them.

4. Purchases
In-app purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.
5. Notifications
If you allow notifications, the game may tell you about daily rewards and tournaments. You can turn them off in the game's settings or in iOS Settings.
6. Children
Tinkeroll is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has shared information with us, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your rights and contact
You may ask us to access or delete data connected to you, or ask any question about this policy, by writing to hello@layernative.com. If we change this policy, we will update the date above.
