Short description

RuneShot is a turn-based dungeon brawler where every shot is a puzzle. Read the enemy's next move, bank your rune ball off the walls, break their armour apart and fuse a wild arsenal of balls across 50 hand-built dungeons.

Long description

It looks like a brick breaker, but it plays like a tactics game. Each turn your enemies show you exactly what they will do: which lane the archer is aiming at, when the warden will sweep, when the bison will stampede. You get one free action, to step aside, drink a potion or raise your guard, and one shot.

Every bounce adds power to the hit, so the best shots are long bank shots. Enemies are built from parts with their own health: break the sword arm and the sweep is gone, break the lantern and the lure stops, come down on a skeleton's back for a double-damage backstab.

After each room you can fuse two of your balls into something stranger. With 19 base balls and 33 fusions, there are splitters, bees, orbiting moons, drills and ghostly echo twins to discover, and elements that play off each other: water conducts lightning, fire lights oil, frost makes armour brittle.

Each chapter is one roguelite run of ten dungeons where health and potions carry over. Eight heroes, sixty charms, daily challenges and optional curses for double rewards keep every run different.
