Terms of Use
Last updated: October 15, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the game RuneShot (the “Game”), made by Layernative (“we”, “us”). By downloading or playing the Game you agree to them. The Game is distributed through Apple's App Store, so Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two differ for your use of the Game, these terms add to it.
1. Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and play the Game on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. All rights not expressly granted remain with us.
2. Virtual items
- The Game contains virtual currencies (gems, coins), energy and items (balls, heroes, charms, chests). Some can be earned by playing; some can be bought with real money.
- Virtual items have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money or anything of value, and cannot be transferred or sold outside the Game.
- Virtual items are licensed to you, not sold. They exist only inside the Game.
- Chests contain randomly selected charms. Each chest shows the guaranteed rarity before you open it.
3. Purchases and refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms. Purchased gems and coins are consumable: once delivered and used, they cannot be restored. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
4. Your progress
Progress is saved on your device only. Deleting the Game, resetting progress or losing your device may permanently erase your progress and virtual items, and we cannot restore them. Hardcore mode intentionally erases a chapter's stars when you lose.
5. Ads
The Game shows ads provided by third parties. Rewarded ads are optional. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the websites they lead to.
6. Fair play
Please do not cheat, modify the Game, use bots or exploits, or interfere with its advertising or purchase systems. We may make reasonable changes to the Game to fix such problems.
7. Changes to the Game
We may update, change, balance or discontinue features of the Game at any time, including the cost and effect of virtual items, to keep the Game fun and fair.
8. Intellectual property
The Game, including its code, art, characters, music, sound and text, is owned by Layernative and protected by law. You may share screenshots and videos of your own play, including on streaming and video sites.
9. Disclaimer and liability
The Game is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about it and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
