Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This policy explains what information the game RuneShot (the “Game”), made by Layernative (“we”, “us”), handles, and why. We built the Game to need as little of your information as possible.
The short version
- There is no account, no sign-up and no login.
- Your progress is saved on your device. We do not have servers that store your game data.
- The Game shows ads through Google AdMob. Google may process device information to show and measure ads; where the law requires it, you are asked for consent first.
- Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Information stored on your device
Your game progress (stars, balls, heroes, charms, coins, gems, settings such as music and sound) is stored locally on your device. It stays there unless you delete the Game. We do not collect or receive it.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Game shows rewarded ads (which you choose to watch, for example for energy or a revive) and occasional full-screen ads between dungeons. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To serve, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process information such as your IP address, device type, operating system, language, approximate location derived from the IP address, and ad interactions.
- The Game does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites (Apple's App Tracking Transparency). Without that permission, your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) is not available to the Game or to Google.
- If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the Game shows a consent message from Google's User Messaging Platform before ads are personalised. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices.
- Players who make any purchase stop seeing the full-screen ads between dungeons.
Google's use of this information is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
In-app purchases
Gems, coins and the starter pack are sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we receive only a confirmation that a purchase was completed, so the Game can deliver what you bought. Apple's handling of your data is described in the Apple Privacy Policy.
Diagnostics
We do not include an analytics service in the Game. If you choose to share app analytics with developers in your device's settings, Apple may share crash reports and usage statistics with us in an anonymous, aggregated form.
Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Because we do not store your personal information on our own systems, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You can delete all locally saved data by deleting the Game, or reset your progress in Settings → Reset progress. For data processed by Google or Apple, please use the controls and contact options those companies provide. You are always welcome to contact us with questions.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be announced in the Game's release notes.
